For supper, I decided that I wanted to cook the chicken that I bought. I decided to pair it with rice since both my husband and I love rice. He likes his with sugar, and I eat mine with soy sauce. Then I had to decide how to cook the chicken. I knew the deep fryer was not a choice since I have no experience using the one we have. So it was either the skillet or toaster oven. This recipe chooses me. I had all the ingredients, and the picture looked amazing. Of course, when I made this recipe, it didn't look like the picture, but it was still delicious and worth the time and effort it took to make. I hope you like this recipe as much as I did.
What I love about chicken is that there are many ways to cook it. For example, this recipe calls for flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Most people have these in their pantry. You can add ingredients to this recipe. If you don't like paprika, you can take it out and replace it with another spice. There are no bad ways to cook chicken. This recipe is prepped and cooked in an hour, which is great if you're busy.
Since this recipe uses chicken legs, you need to make sure they are cooked at 180 degrees. I had never made this recipe before, but my husband and I loved it. It was mouthwatering and crispy.

Cook time: 50 min
Ready in: 1 hour
Yields: 7
Ingredients
- 7 Chicken Legs
- 1 TBSP Paprika
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- Vegetable oil

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix and stir the following ingredients, flour, salt, pepper, and the paprika. Make sure it is mixed well.
- In a skillet, pour the vegetable oil and turn on. Pour enough oil so it covers the bottom of the skillet.
- Take the chicken legs and place it in the flour mixture. Coat the chicken with the mixture to make sure it is covered. Place the chicken in the skillet on high and let cook for 10 minutes or until brown then flip it over and cook for another 10 minutes. Then for about 20 minutes cook uncovered and turn the temperature down a little. Each skillet is different so make sure the chicken is thoroughly cooked before eating.
